Dr Jelena Anicic Sadler
Executive Director, Swiss-Serbian Chamber of Commerce
Dr Jelena Anicic Sadler is the Executive Director of the Swiss-Serbian Chamber of Commerce (SSCC), based in Belgrade. With more than two decades of experience spanning journalism, public relations, and international business development, she leads the Chamber’s mission to strengthen economic ties between Switzerland and Serbia and to create impactful opportunities for its member companies.
Before joining the SSCC in January 2026, Dr Anicic Sadler spent over eight years as founder and Director of the Representative Office of the Serbia Lebanon Business Council in Belgrade, where she built the organization from the ground up and cultivated strategic partnerships with the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and the Beirut Chamber of Commerce. In this role, she coordinated bilateral business initiatives and advanced cross-border cooperation between the two countries.
Her earlier career was rooted in international broadcast journalism. She was one of the founders of TV N1, the CNN-affiliated regional news channel, where she later served as Advisor to the CEO. Prior to that, she spent a decade as a freelance producer for CNN, coordinating live news coverage in high-risk environments across the Balkans and the Middle East, including during the Iraq War and the NATO bombing of Serbia. She also co-owned and produced for the Beirut Media Center, reporting across the Middle East, Europe, and Africa.
Dr Anicic Sadler holds a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the Medical University of Belgrade. She brings this diverse foundation—in medicine, media, and international relations—to her work fostering sustainable, mutually beneficial partnerships between the Swiss and Serbian business communities.
