Message from the Ambassador of Switzerland to the Republic of Serbia and to Montenegro, H.E. Guex
Dear friends and colleagues,
Considering the current sanitary situation prevailing due to the pandemic, the Embassy of Switzerland will not host a reception for celebrating the 729th anniversary of the creation of the Swiss Confederation as it does each year.
Instead of rejoicing, time is to pay tribute to the victims of the pandemic in Switzerland, in Serbia or elsewhere in the world as well as to show our immense gratitude to those on the frontline whose courageous commitment to their jobs enable the rest of us to have a normal life.
In this context, I invite you to watch the speech of the President of the Confederation, H.E. Mrs. Simonetta Sommaruga, which will be accessible in the course of next week on the home page of the Embassy’s website, namely:
