SSCC’s Conference on dual education, planned for October 2018, will take place as part of the continuing Swiss-Serbian dialogue with a view to contributing to the development of the new educational system in Serbia and to promoting the Swiss Vocational Education and Training System (VET). Dual education is one of the key factors for the economic success and competitiveness of Switzerland.
In order to effectively prepare the Conference, SSCC organized the “SSCC Expert Meeting on Dual Education” with Dr. Gabrijela Grujic, Assistant Minister, Ministry for Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia, as the expert-guest of honor. The purpose of the meeting was to share experiences of SSCC members related to recruiting skilled workforce, to identify key issues to be addressed during the Conference and to encourage actions needed to better align the local education system to the needs of the economy.
The Expert Meeting took place on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 in the premises of Roche d.o.o. Serbia and was conducted by SSCC President, Majo Micovic, and Dr. Gabrijela Grujic, Assistant Minister, Ministry for Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia.
