In partnership with the “Customs Administration of the Republic of Serbia”, SSCC held a seminar on “Customs Procedures and Affairs”, on March 18, 2015 in the “Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia”. Gathering more than 50 participants, the seminar was organized with a view to achieve the goal of expanding trade relationships between Switzerland and Serbia and, more particularly, to increase competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises by presenting and clarifying customs-related procedures and affairs.
Participants were firstly greeted by Mrs. Aleksandra Stanarevic, director of the Department for Foreign Economic Relations of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, who emphasized that this seminar was an excellent opportunity for the exchange of practical information between private sector representatives and Customs Administration of the Republic of Serbia in order to provide support to trade-oriented companies.
Then, Mr. Duško Marinković, deputy director of the “Customs Administration of the Republic of Serbia”, emphasized the importance of the implementation of the New Computerized Transit System as of the 23rd of September 2014. This novelty enables submission of electronic customs declarations for transit of goods and complete electronic management of transit customs procedures in road traffic. According to Mr. Marinkovic, the main role of the Customs Administration of the Republic of Serbia is to ensure steady inflow of public revenues, efficient international trading, as well as to uphold security, safety and comprehensive protection.
Mr. Marinko Ukropina, the Vice-president of the Swiss-Serbian Chamber of Commerce, underlined that SSCC strived to deliver effective trade-related assistance to its members by organizing workshops and lectures in cooperation with its institutional partners in order to expand trade relationships between Switzerland and Serbia.

- Customs-related documentation, presented by Mrs. Jasminka Gajić, chief of the TARIS department of the Serbian Customs Administration
- Customs procedures, presented by Mr. Veselin Milošević, Assistant Director of the “ICT Division” of the Serbian Customs Administration
- New Computerized Transit System, Mr. Veselin Milošević, Assistant Director of the “ICT Division” of the Serbian Customs Administration
- TRANZITNET in Serbia: Mr. Vlada Antonijevic, SGS Belgrade Government institution services coordinator
- Origin of goods, Mr. Vladimir Filipović , Head of the “Origin of goods” department of the Serbian Customs Administration
- Customs Tariff, Mrs. Dušanka Puškar, Head of the “Customs Tariff” department of the Serbian Customs Administration
