Factory of Swiss Company Etampa Opens in Krusevac – Producing for Ferrari, Porsche and Bugatti

A factory of the Swiss company Etampa has officially opened in Krusevac. The company comes from the sector of machine processing of metal, the factory employs around 25 workers, and the plan is for there to be up to 60 workers by the end of the year. The production capacity is around 280 million parts a year. The majority of Etampa’s clients come from the fields of automotive industry (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti), electronics/electrical engineering, construction and medical/safety technology.

Currently the biggest problem, as director Aleksandar Stankovic emphasized, is the lack of toolmakers, and the plans are for them to get engaged in initiating dual education for those purposes, together with the Regional Chamber of Commerce and the School Administration.

– In its ambitious plans, Etampa emphasized that it also wanted to expand the production, so the city will continue justifying its status as a favorable business environment and a good host for all companies and business entities – mayor Jasmina Palurovic said on that occasion, it is said on the official website of Krusevac.

Etampa AG was founded in 1945 in Switzerland. It has developed into a significant international company with activities in the sectors of die-cutting and fine grinding. On 7,200 m2 of factory space in its facilities, Etampa produces tools with high performances and has an ultra-modern production facility for fine grinding and die-cutting.

The majority of Etampa’s customers comes from the fields of automotive industry (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti), electronics/electrical engineering, construction and medical/safety technology.

Etampa has factories in Illinois (USA), Blansko (Czechia), and now in Krusevac as well (since August 2022).
